EVI website was unveiled in the gracious presence of Dr.Pamposh Kumar Chief Advising Mentor and Dr.S.Nagarathinam, National convener at Media Centre, P.B.Siddhartha College of Arts and Science, Vijayawada, Andra Pradesh, on 18th December 2019.
Dr.Krishnarao Appasani, Vice Chairman and CEO, Science city of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravathi delivered the Inaugural Address. He enthused the audience with his pathbreaking scientific vision to save the planet.
Shri N.Balagopal, Vice Chairman, P.N.Panicker Foundation, Kerala, delivered Key Note address and dedicated the EVI mission to the nation. He shared his inspiring lifetime work and wished success to millions of youth of the country in this mission.
Eco Vision Indica (EVI) website, www.ecovisionindica.com, was dedicated to the Nation by a Group of Experts (GoE) in Ecology, Nature and Media. Patrons of Eco Vision Indica Dr. Grover, Shri.N.Balagopal, Dr.Shrawan K. Sharma, and Advisers Shri.S.K.Sawhney, Dr.K.Nauriyal, Dr .Julia Dutta, Dr.Pallavi Latkar, Shri.Tarun Kumar Jain, Shri.Rakesh Khatri, Dr.Sunita Jhala, Dr.Shika Dixit, Ms.Vandana Annavaram were present. Dr.Pamposh Kumar, Chief Advising Mentor, EVI, reiterated that Eco Vision Indica is a voluntary non governmental Platform for Experts, Eco Media Professionals and youth volunteer’s across the country to work with enthusiasm on the objectives for better future of our Nation. The platform principles for eco cultural transformation are open for adoption and modification by the co travelers. This inter-disciplinary nature of thinking and approach to action will motivate and help the youth of our country to work on solutions for pressing issues of Ecology and Nature. EVI code of excellence is the anchor point for this.
The dignitaries & Sh Tarun Jain, Editor, Vaigyanik Drishtikon, Jaipur, also announced the plan under Eco Vision Indica for conferring Medal by Vaigyanik Drishtikon, Jaipur in memory of late Shri Rajendra Prabhu, Senior Science Journalist for recognizing ‘Outstanding Work in Science Media & Scientific Attitude’.
Dr S. Nagarathinam, National Convener, EVI, in his vote of thanks underscored the need to meet the future with eco wisdom, preserved natural heritage and be shock resilient. He invited eco media professionals to also join as EVI Fellows – a prestigious professional attachment with the mission. Young volunteers were offered opportunity for registration. The firm was also made available for online submission.
